I find this site to be quite valuable for tracking gigs, promoting and more.

It's free for the basic set-up.

Indie Music Marketing Guru Bob Baker

I first heard of Bob Baker through a student and friend who's in publicity.

She showed me his website and books, but took it one further when he came to Chicago and I had the pleasure of joining him for dinner with my friend and a couple other local industry people.

He's a great guy, very interested in making his knowledge available and open to input from folks like myself on the front line. I'm currently enjoying his Virtual Music Coach, an online series for people serious about marketing their music successfully.

Any and every independent musician needs to check out Bob's site.

You'll thank me, but more than that, you'll thank him for being such a vast resource.

George Belle / Audio Engineer

I met George at a live show where my friend Seth Vernon and I were playing.

Seth brough in George to mix for us, but George took it further, bringing in his own gear to be sure we sounded good. And I've never heard better sound in the venue we were playing.

George gave me his card, and I've been recording acoustic songs with him towards a new release.

I've worked with many top engineers in Chicago, but George's 40+ years of experience take him to the top. His production skills are excellent and he manages to draw the best from my every take in the studio.

Have a look at his credentials on the page I've linked you too, and it's no surprise he's so good!
