This tune effectively took me years to write.

I had the instrumental section intact pretty quickly, but just couldn't seem to pull together the right lyrical ideas and chord structure for some verses.

Then one night, I woke up around dawn, picked up the guitar and it all just flowed together like waves.

Interpret it how you will, it has various meanings to me.
