Nicholas Fuson is a professional trumpet player, band director, and music teacher. He received a Bachelor's of Music in Music Education in 2023 from Murray State University. Nicholas is licensed to teach all grades (K-12) in both Kentucky and Illinois. Nicholas taught at Fulton County Schools in Hickman, Kentucky during the 2023-2024 School year where he taught general music, piano, and concert band.

 

Nicholas has been playing the trumpet for 14 years. During that time he has played in a large number of different settings including large ensembles, small (chamber) ensembles, marching bands, jazz bands, solos with piano accompaniment, and true solo performances.

 

A Kentucky native, Nicholas moved to Chicago in 2024 with his wife and daughter. In addition to his love of music Nicholas enjoys long distance running, cooking, bowling, and gaming. Nicholas is excited to be joining Phil Circle Music to teach all brass instruments (trumpet, trombone, French horn, baritone/euphonium, tuba).
