Philip Buchman is an accomplished drummer with years of performance and teaching experience. After graduating from the University of Michigan in 2023, Philip spent three years in Detroit playing with some of the city's finest musicians. Some notable performances include: headlining with his quartet at the Michigan Jazz Festival, and jazz clubs such as Cliff Bells, Aretha's Jazz Cafe, and the Blue Llama. Philip believes in teaching his students how to practice, and the importance of practicing together. He can offer instruction in basic, intermediate, and advanced drumming in any style.
