Michele van Leeuwen teaches foundational to intermediate bass at Phil Circle Music Chicago. She also does remote coaching across the world.

Michele is an electric bassist with 12 years experience in performing, writing, and recording. She started out self-taught, playing in original Rock groups. In 2018 and 2019, Michele attended multiple music camps led by legendary bassist, Victor Wooten. In 2021 she completed Berklee Online’s professional bass certification program. Currently, Michele is playing 70 shows a year with Pop/Rock band Serendipity. She also plays bass in the Triton College Jazz Ensemble.
